Power of Curiosity

A man was travelling in his car and suddenly it was stopped due to some problem. He found one monastery, where monks live. He went to that and explained the problem to the monk. He invited the man with a cheerful face and served him dinner and monk himself repaired the car. Monk offered one of the bedrooms to that man to sleep for the night. As the man tried to fall asleep, he heard a strange voice from inside. The next day morning, he asked the monk what the sound was. But the monk said, “we can’t tell you what it is because you are not a monk.” The man was disappointed and also thanked the monk for the hospitality.

Some years later, the same man got struck up at the same place and he straight away went to the same monastery. Again the same thing repeated. He had a nice dinner and his car was repaired by the monk. As the man tried to fall asleep, he heard the same voice which he heard few years ago. The next morning, he asked the monk and same answer he received. But the curiosity in this man was increased and asked the monk to know what to do to become a monk.

The monk replied, ”Travel around the globe and find the number of grass blades and sand pebbles. When you find these numbers, then you will become a monk.” After many years, this man came back and told that he traveled throughout the earth and found the number. It is 1,56,44,3,89,387 grass blades and 3,47,54,78,29,37,67,23,672 sand pebbles. Finally, this man was appointed as a monk and handed over a key to see that majestic voice.

This man found a wooden door and he opened this with the key. As he went into that room, he found one more door which was made by stone. The monk handed over one more key to open the stone door. The man opened the door and went inside. Like that he passed through emerald, topaz, bronze, silver, gold. At last, the monk handed over the last key to open the platinum door. There he saw an amazing thing which is the source of that sweet voice.

The sweet sound is…… Hey, are you a monk? Oh Noo, I can’t reveal the truth. Please go around the earth and know the number of grass blades and sand pebbles.  Thank You :p
