Some people can sing very well, some people can
dance very well, some people can write very well. But few people complain about
their talents comparing them with others. Some of you might be, yet to explore
your talents. I reckon to know your talents as quickly as possible so that you
can use it. The purpose will be served.
A parable from the Bible correlates with the topic.
A master gave three of his servants, some talents. He gave one of them five
talents, one of them two talents and the third he gave one talent. He informed
them he will be back after few months.
After the master left, the first person doubled the
five talents and made it into ten talents. The second one too doubled the two
talents and made it into four talents. Whereas, the third person dug a hole and
buried the one talent which his master had given him. When the master returned,
he enquired with the 3 men about the talents he gave them.
The first man showed the ten talents and the second
man his four talents. But the third person returned the one talent back to his
master. His master became furious and took his one talent and gave it to the
person with ten talents. He ordered his servants to throw him away in spite of
the words the servant said to justify his act.
Yes, my friend, God has given everyone at least a
talent. It is our responsibility to find and properly use it. So let’s take few
minutes and start thinking to find our talent.
If you know your talent then let's think how best you are using.
