A man was walking through the sea shore. He found
one cave and entered into it where he found a canvas bag which contains clay
balls. He thought that someone made it and forgot to take it. So he took the
bag from the cave and started walking along the sea shore.
He started throwing those clay balls into the sea
one by one. As he is trying to throw as far as he can, in this process one clay
ball was slipped from his hand. As he is holding the clay ball very tight, it
got cracks and some light is coming from inside the clay ball. So he peeled off
the clay and found a precious gemstone in it. The man was so excited and
started opening all the clay balls which resulted with the similar treasure.
Then he realized that he just now thrown half of
the clay balls from the bag. If he stored them then he might carry home with
double the amount than this. As he can’t get the past back, he went to his home
with the remaining clay balls. I mean gemstones.
Even we have the same attitude. We look at people
with their outward appearance without knowing their hidden talents. The outward
appearance may or may not be beautiful and eye catching, but remember everyone
had a hidden talent. But we should take some time to find the treasure hidden
inside that person.
There is a treasure in each and every one of us. If
we take the time to get to know that person, then the clay begins to peel away
and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth.
