This is a true incident happened in Japan. Most of
the houses in Japan were built of wooden. Those houses normally have an empty
space between the wooden walls.
One day the house owner decided to renovate the
house. While removing one of the wooden walls, he found a lizard struck by a
nail. When the owner saw it, he felt pity as one of the lizard’s leg is pierced
deep by the nail.
While he is watching it continuously, his mind was
struck again that he nailed it 10 years back. That means from last 10 years,
the lizard is living in the dark space of wooden walls without moving.
Again he got one more thought, how it is surviving
without food from last 10 years? He is just observing how it is getting the
daily food. And there he saw another lizard came with food in its mouth.
The owner was stunned and in fact deeply touched
by the helping nature of the lizard from last 10 years. The helping lizard gave
hope which helps the hanging lizard to live those ten tough years.
By seeing the whole scene, the owner carefully
removed the nail from the lizard’s leg. The helping lizard took the hanging
lizard to its home happily.
