Once there lived a little boy who wants to meet
God. So he packed his suitcase with two pairs of dresses and few cakes. He
walked a long way and was tired of the journey. So he sat in a park and opened
his bag to eat the cakes. Then he noticed an old woman looking at him. So he offered one cake to her.
She readily accepted the cake with a good smile on
her face. The little boy was so much attracted by her smile and wanted to see
it again and again. So he started offering the cake now and then, which she is
accepting with a smile.
The boy was delighted by her smile. They both sat
whole afternoon eating and smiling, but never exchange a word. As it is
becoming dark, the little boy wants to return his home. But before he gone few
steps, he came back in running and gave a hug to the old woman. She also kissed
him with her cute smile. They both left to their homes happily.
When the boy reaches his home, his mother
recognized the happiness in his face. So she asked him for the reason of his
happiness. He replied, “I had lunch with God.” Before his mother could respond,
he added, “You know what mom? She got the prettiest smile I’ve ever seen in my
whole life!”
In the meantime, the old woman also reached her
home with a joy on her face. Her son observed it and asked for the reason. She
replied, “Today, I ate cakes with God.” Before his son responded, she added,
“You know, he’s much younger than I expected but so loving.”
