Once there lived a rich man who suffered from severe eye pain. He consulted so many famous physicians to get rid of the pain. He took a heavy dosage of drugs and an infinite number of injections in the process.
Instead of reducing, it picked up more than before. At last he heard about one monk who is considered to be the best in dealing these types of issues. He invited the monk to his place and explained his problem. The monk understood the problem and suggested him to concentrate only on green color for next one year.
So the rich man called the painters and told them to paint his whole palace in green color. He ordered his servants to change all the dishes, furniture into green color. He followed the monk’s suggestion fully.
After one year, monk visited him again. While he entered through the entrance, the servants came and poured green color water on monk’s red dress. Servants are so conscious that their master should see only green color.
Seeing this, monk laughed and said, “If you purchased a pair of green color spectacles, worth just a few bucks, you could save so much of money in painting, buying dishes and furniture. Even though you are rich, you cannot paint the whole world green.”
Let us change our vision and the world will appear accordingly. It is foolish to shape the world, let us shape ourselves first.
