Once there was an eagle nest on the top of the mountain. An eagle
laid four eggs in that nest. One day due to a small earthquake, one of the eggs
roll down from the mountain to a valley. There a group of chickens saw the big
egg and told to their parents. They started taking care of the egg and one day
a beautiful eagle came out from the egg.
As the eagle was treated as one of the chickens, soon the eagle
started believed that he was nothing more than a chicken. While all the
chickens and eagle playing, eagle saw a group of eagles happily soaring in the
sky. The small eagle said, “Even I love to soar like those eagles”. All the chickens laughed and said, “You cannot soar with those birds. You are a chicken
and chickens do not soar.”
The small eagle continued staring those eagles in the sky whenever
he got the opportunity to see. Each time the eagle would let his dreams known
to chickens, he was told it couldn’t be done. So the eagle started believing
that it is impossible. After some days, the eagle stopped dreaming and
continued his life like a chicken. Finally, a day came and the eagle died.
