This was the story told by one of the India’s greatest
philosophers, Chanakya. Once there lived a deer in a forest. She is pregnant
and was about to give birth. So she thought of staying at one place and gives
birth. She found one place where there is good grass one side and water on the
other side. She sat there and suddenly, rain with thunders started. Due to a
thunderstorm, the grass was caught with the fire.
In the meantime, on her right side, she saw a lion coming towards
her. On the left side, she saw a hunter aiming his arrow towards her. The deer
was in the centre surrounded by fire, water, lion and hunter.
The disciples who are listening asked Chanakya what happened next.
Did the deer give birth? Did the deer survived or who killed deer?
Then Chanakya continued his story by saying, though the deer was
surrounded with death from all the sides, she just concentrated on giving birth
to her baby. Then this happened: The hunter missed his shot due to the
lightning of a thunderstorm. The miss-shot hit lion instead of deer. Due to
heavy rain, the fire was off. The new-born fawn came into the world.
Chanakya ended the story by telling the moral. In our day-to-day
life, we may be surrounded with many problems. Our only responsibility is to
give God to intervene and solve those problems.
Nice story @Paul :)
