Once there lived a strong man who is an expert in wood cutting. He
went to a merchant and asked for the job. As he is an expert in his skills of
wood cutting, he was selected easily.
The boss gave him the axe and told him the area where he needs to
work. By the end of the first day, the strong man brought 18 trees. The boss
was impressed and appreciated his efforts.
The second day with full excitement he started working hard. By the
end of the day, he managed to cut 15 trees. On the third day, he managed to cut
only 10 trees. In spite of his hard work, the count is decreasing. He met the
boss and shared his agony. The boss patiently listened and asked the strong
man, “When was the last time you sharpened your axe?”
The man was surprisingly asked, “Sharpen? I don’t have time to
sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees. Then the boss told
him to add smartness to his work hard. From then he started to cut more trees.
