Once there lived a lazy young man. Due to his laziness, he lost
everything but only left with a house and a wooden ladder. Every house had a
ladder to climb to upstairs to safeguard them from floods.
Due to a cool climate in winter, his wife requested him to bring charcoal
to keep the house warm. As he is lazy and not interested in going outside, he
started removing the steps of the wooden ladder. By the end of the winter
season, the whole ladder was used for fire.
Suddenly the city was affected by floods. Water came heavily and it
drowns all the ground floors. As they don’t have any prior notice of the
floods, this young man can’t able to ask help from others. In the meantime,
floods came and both the young couple have died.
