Once a young man went to one priest and asked him the importance of human life. priest gave him a stone and told him to enquire the cost of it, but he told the young man not to sell it.
This young man started walking on the road holding the stone given by the priest. A fruit shop owner saw the stone and told him to give it to him. In return, he will give 12 mangoes. As priest told not to sell it, the young man went calmly.
One more vegetable shop owner saw that stone and told it is a precious stone. He also asked the young man to sell it for him for one bag of potatoes. But, due to the condition told by the priest, the young man didn’t sell it.
On the way, one Goldsmith saw that stone in young man’s hand. Goldsmith came to him and told that it is so precious stone and it may be more than a crore rupees which I can’t give. As Young man is also not interested to sold it, he left him.
At last, one Jewelry shop owner saw that stone. He came to the young man and said that it is a unique stone which no one can decide a price to you. In the evening, the young man went to the priest and told everything.
Priest smiled and told, for fruit shop owner it is equal to 12 mangoes. For the vegetable shop owner, it is equal to one bag of potatoes. For Goldsmith, it is more than one crore and for Jewelry shop owner it is priceless.
Like this, every human being is a jewel. The importance of human life will be illustrated by their experiences and their knowledge. So never get discouraged when someone treats you low. One day will come, where you will be recognized according to your talent.
