Fear of Failure

Once a man was walking in the zoo. He was stopped by seeing a scene. Huge elephants are tied by a small rope and there is no chains or cages. He waited for some time to see whether they will make any attempts to come out of that small rope. But they didn’t attempt.

He asked the Zoo trainer regarding this. The Zoo trainer told like this. When they are too young and small, we used the same rope to tie them. At that time, they tried a lot to get rid of the rope but they are not succeeded. Still, they believe that this rope is stronger than their capacity. So they never try again, even though they can easily break it.
This man was surprised by the answer given by the Zoo trainer. These animals have the ability to break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.
Like these elephants, we also stopped trying many things after our first failure. We always underestimate ourselves that we cannot do it.
Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life. So, let's transform our fear into action.
